Joss Rocks at Hard Rock Live!

Granted we are not Austin, New Orleans, Nashville or LA, but the music venues in Orlando are one of my favorite parts of living in Central Florida. With the House of Blues, Hard Rock Live, Amway Arena, UCF Arena, Silver Spurs Arena and more....we have lots of live music to enjoy! My friends Edward, Christie, Jessica and I took in the Joss Stone concert....WOW!! We stayed till the bitter end and took in every last note.
Bye, bye heat!!
Fall has finally arrived in Florida....we are out of the 90 degree weather! Yipee....time for art shows, the farmers market without sweating to death and enjoying the outdoors until next May!!

We celebrated our neighbor Cindy's birthday in what was to be a Suprise party at the Springs.....Frank, along with Ann somehow spilled the beans earlier in the week! The rain held off, but the mosquito's set in at dark due to our over abundance of rain this summer!!
Girls Just Want to Have Fun-Chapter 2 "Octoberfest"
After a very stressful week, the monthly neighborhood Bunco-"Drunco" outing was one of the all time funniest evenings....I was laughing so hard I cried.... Subs Kimbra and Leah were a blast! The girls strategized on how to make millions with their new "Fredricks of Hollywood" introductions....all in an effort to get to the spirits faster and more efficiently!!
America's Football Night

Thanks to tickets from Tony we attended the Jaguar-Steelers match up in Jacksonville, Sunday night! What a blast! The Steelers fan's were out in droves....we enjoyed sitting and cheering with the players families. Frank sat next to Santonio Holmes family.
Yes, we are hurting today after a late, late night! Not as late as my co-worker Rosanne and her boyfriend Robert, (see photo below) who stayed till the bitter end of the game and arrived home at 3:15 A.M. Ouch!! I am so impressed she walked in to the office at 8:50 this morning.

The second annual "Talent Show-Beauty Inherit" was hosted by our good friends Ray and Betty Johnson at their Deland home. The talents were vast! From lighting up a pickle with electrical currents to Bike Week poetry and painting with mud, Mali, Africian style. By the end of the evening, everyone was thinking of what to do next year. Watch out the fire baton's are coming out of the attic!!

Charlie Turns 5

We took our little buddy and neighbor Charlie out for a special birthday treat on Sunday that included a trip to the toy store and ice cream parlor. Charlie is famous for his "Charlisms"....most recently "Frank and Janine live at the airport"! Charlie, along with his big brother Max and friends Noah & Nick keep us on our feet with their frequent visits. Each evening ends with the Marlboro Man Overture and the boys playing horsie running around our house.

Quick business trip to Charlotte turns into a night of fun with Miss Blair and Miss Kennedy. What joy to hang out with the girls.... ham, chips and chocolate milk for dinner all while enjoying Hanna Montana! Blair took us on an adventure marching through the mud on the dirt track at the Nemechek 5-Star Resort. Straight to the shower we went, as the girls proceeded to strip me of my clothes both before and after the shower! Lots of giggles.....

Vacation in Punta Cana with Andrea, Joe, John Hunter, Blair and Kennedy. Lots of swimming, naps, mojito's....more mojito's, kayaking, golfing, the spa and an Oscar de la Renta sighting.
